mark boucher and ab de villiers not many people would have seen him keep but he does keep wicket for titans and some times for sa and he is amazing behind the wicket his speed and agility make him the best keeper in the world then theres his batting which is explosive so thats why i think he is the greatest keeper boucher is a proven performer

since adam gilcrest is noe retired i would say it is mark boucher from south africa because he is always contributing with the bat usually scoring between30 to 40 runs regularlr he is also the best at wicketkeeping in the world at the moment thats why he holds the world record for most test dismasalls by a wicketkeeper i think he will be followed by dhoni from india

Im gona assume you mean keeping skills and not batting and ill go with Mark Boucher although his skills have slipped a little. Brendon McCullam is the most athletic keeper around and is right up there with boucher but hes not quite polished standing up to the stumps but i dont recall seeing him let through byes

Dhoni can be only most expensive player, but far away from the stuff of these two.

Great question. Gilchrist has now retired from International cricket by the way! I am quite liking McCullum at the moment, especially the way he murdered the Bangladesh bowling in December with 80* of28 and in the IPL on Friday with 158* off 73... impressive and aggressive. However, Boucher is a gifted wicket-keeper as well and handy with the bat. Dhoni is getting better at the keeping, on a good day defiant with bat and in my opinion is doing a fine job of captaining a young side (India). But at this very moment, I'd have to go with McCullum purely for his recent explosive display with the bat!
