  2. datsyuk

  3. sergei federov, (great lateral movement), savard, mikita, bure.

  4. Bobby Orr, "Nifty" Rick Middleton and Denis Savard are considered to be among the best stickhandlers ever to play the game (better than present day danglers like Datsyuk, Ovechkin, and Kovalev in most expert eyes).

Personally, Henri Richard's stickhandling skills always amazed me..................saw him stickhandle through lineups like a hot knife through butter on more than one occasion.

Mario was a d**n fine dangler when he wanted to be as well

  5. That's a tough question because the dangler has really come  on in the last 10 years with the Russians. Before people skated and passed around or tried to bull through a defender. Having said that Bobby Orr probably was the hardest player ever to stop one on one, if that is your definition of dangler. Or if your talking about stick-handling ability give me some Jagr or Alexi Kovelev whose got moves on top of moves.

  6. Pavel Bure. When he was younger, before he had knee problems he had some of the sickest moves ever. He was one of the faster skaters to ever play hockey and when he would handle the puck he would lose no speed. That is real talent and for a dangler in hockey speed is one of the most important things, and Bure had speed, the moves and the killer instinct to finish plays.

  9. either Bobby Orr or Alex Kovalev

Savvy of course .. how could I forget him? Oh well, could be worse, Grundman forgot to sign him in 1980 and then we had to give a then-28 year old Chelios for him :(
