I dont think anyone is less important than the other because the failure of any one of these will ultimately lead to death without efficient treatment.

Tough one.  Considering that a build of ammonia can cause a hundred problems, most of all, hepatic encephalopathy (hepatic coma) and build up of urea can cause problems in nearly every system due to kidney failure with a back up of toxins into every system.

I would have to go with the kidneys though.  Dialysis is tough on the body and emotionally difficult to over come.

Just a quick thought since it is 7:10 am.

Great questions though.  I had to pull out some system knowledge that has been put on hold for the summer.
