Bahadur Shah Zafar was the last Mughal Emperor.

He was designated the title "Emperor of India" during 1857 revolt and was later exiled to Burma after the anti-British revolt was suppressed, following which the 3 centuries long Mughal rule in India came to an end. He died in Rangoon in 1962.
