  1. The wives of Prophet Muhammad (SAW)

  2. Prophet Muhammad (saw) is my role model,

as he was the most perfect man on earth.

And being a woman, i take the Mothers of Islam (Muhammad (saw)s wives) as women to look up to.

    p.s.

There is a book written by Michael H. Hart. It's called The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History. And Muhammad (saw) is respectably chosen as the most influential man to change the world. Subhanallah! Check it out!!

  3. the prophet (saw) just because he was amazing and very inspirational!

  4. My dad only. Because he is awesome!

He has done so much n his life. E.g - he influences me academically, by having 3 pH certificates. =]

  5. mine is Ataturk !! ofcourse who else wouldnt be ?

  6. Christ Jesus.  No one else on has ever been sinless.  He is the perfect example for all people.

    God Bless.

EDIT:  Muhammad prayed for forgiveness 70 times a day as per ahadith.  So much for being sinless.  Oh, the quran says that Jesus was, lol.  Mary was told she would have a faultless son.  Jesus is great!

    EDIT #2:

    quran 019.019

YUSUFALI: He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.

PICKTHAL: He said: I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son.

SHAKIR: He said: I am only a messenger of your Lord: That I will give you a pure boy.

That was about JESUS!!  And now for Muhammad:

Sahih Bukhari Volume 8, Book 75, Number 319:

    Narrated Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah's Apostle saying." By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day."

EDIT #3:  All people are sinners, even prophets.  Jesus is not.

If prophets are sinless, why does allah tell Muhammad these things in the quran:

    47:19

PICKTHAL: So know (O Muhammad) that there is no Allah save Allah, and ask forgiveness for thy sin and for believing men and believing women. Allah knoweth (both) your place of turmoil and your place of rest.

40:55: Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And ask forgiveness of thy sin, and hymn the praise of thy Lord at fall of night and in the early hours.

  7. My primary role model, as such, is Frances Bavier, the lady who played Aunt Bee on the Andy Griffith show.  I think I look a lot like her, and I admire the character.

But she's not my mentor, which is not the same thing as a role model.  My mentor is Kate Lovelady, the leader of the Ethical Society of St. Louis.  She's smart, kind, and all those things I'd like to be.

  8. my hubby cuz he works so hard to put me in college and care for our son at the same time, he works 12 hrs every day no vacations, he is the only one that works, alhumdullilah allah help us and now this fall i graduate as an aerospace engineer. my hubby shows his dedication and sacrafice to make my dreams come true

  9. Me, or that man laying on the sidewalk just before me. Who else is there?

  10. Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) because he taught us all he knows so that we can become better people and better muslims.

  11. first allah then muhammad (p.b.u.h)

  12. The Prophet (saw) because he's the most perfect human that ever walked on the face of the Earth.

  13. for me it's the companions of the Prophet(pbuh). cuz u cant actually be like the prophets. they were made free from sins and mistakes but that was not with the sahaba(ra) the sahaba(ra)were the best of people with all the short comings.

i would love to be like abu bakkar, omar or ali.(may Allah be pleased with them all) and also like khadeeja(may Allah be pleased with her)

majic of dawn: the messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) seeked forgiveness 70 times daily THOUGH HE WAS SINLESS. don't you understand? sinless is equal to faultless .this showed the humbleness of the prophet(pbuh).

  14. Prophet Mohamed (Peace Be Upon Him) is my model.  He is a model to humanity till the Day of Judgement.  His way of life, his dressing, his family life, his social life and all of his acts are model for the humanity.  Nowadays, the people copy the film stars, T.V. stars, Cricket stars etc.  Soon they they get fed up with the hero and change and adop the style of some others. But, the model of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is the perfect.  Allahu Ta'la says in Holy Quran: Oh Prophet, Say "If you love Allah follow me, Allah will forgive your sins.  Allah is oft forgiving and most merciful".  Once a companion (R.A.) of the Prophet (PBUH) was saying how the Prophet taught him to answer the call of nature (i.e. to pass urine/stool and how to spend time inside the lavatory).  A jew laughed and said: Are these things the Prophet taught you.  The companion (R.A.) replied: "Prophet (PBUH) taught us everything connected with day to day activities".  The Prophet (PBUH) was perfect example of an honest, just, merciful, compassionate, truthful, and brave human being.  Though he was a man, he was far removed from all evil characteristics and strove solely for the sake of God and His reward in the Hereafter.  Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of God.

In his book, the 100, A Ranking Of The Most Influential Persons In History, Michael H. Hart stated: "My Choice of Mohammed to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels.".  In his book, The Genuine Islam, Sir George Bernard Shaw said: " I believe that if a man like him were to assume the leadership of the modern world he would succeed in solving the problems in a way that would bring to this world much needed peace and happiness." Shaw added that, "He was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this earth.  He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and hehavior for all times to come."

Despite his responsibilities as a prophet, a teacher, a statesman and a judge, Mohammed (PBUH) used to milk his goat, mend his clothes, repair his shoes, help with the household work, and visit poor people when they got sick.  He also helped his companions in digging a trench by moving sand with them.  HIS LIFE WAS AN AMAZING MODEL OF SIMPLICITY AND HUMBLENESS.

Christian brothers! Excuse me.  Why do you bait and hate Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him). Muslims believe in all Prophets of God including Jesus-Isa (Peace Be upon Him).  We respect Mary (Mariyam), mother of Jesus (PBUH).  She is held in high esteem by Muslims.  Jesus said, "and He shall give you another Comforter" (John 14:16).  Muslim scholars mention that the original word 'Periklytos' in Greek, which means 'the praised one' (Mohammed).

  15. the most love person ever, proof by actions not lip service. Muhammad Peace be upon him

  16. Prophet Muhammad Salla Allah Alayh Wa Aalihi wasallam

  17. Imam Ali, the Prince of Believers!

  18. My mom and sister.. :)

  19. Christ Jesus, the greatest man who ever lived.  No other man had greater love than to give up his human life willingly as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world of mankind.
