  1. Yes any airline company is responsible for this when on approach to land they dump 600 gallons a min of fuel full of poison into the sea so that when they land they wont cause a huge explosion this was the FAA's answer in the 40's well we know how to deal with fires that burn like this now so there is no reason to do this but we still do Google Jim Starry and look at his airport design and see that we can save 6million gallons of fuel a day and stop pollution of our sea

  2. Step number one in doing a school report is doing your own research.

  3. Oil spills = oil companies.  They all spill some eventually.

  4. I have come to find that whales take the biggest dumps

    in the oceans. Heh-heh.......

    Try the UNs' web page.

Also the National Oceanographic and Atmosphereic

    Administrations' web page. noaa.gov

or type , "industrial and shipping maritime environmental

disasters" into 'search'. Even Lloyds of London insurance Co.

Only.... Please pick on some careless indusrial giant that is

not an American company. You'd be sickened by how many

international companies(not USA)) and nations have absolutely no environmental regulations, let alone  even a mi-

nor ethic or concideration for the seas they use so carelessly.

America is leader among the few nations that actually imp-

ose rules and regulations in regard to Earths' mahvellous

    mise-en-scene.

Greedy leaders of China have all but destroyed the Yang-chi

river. Dammed and polluted the Grand Lady beyond belief.

I'm from ol' Blue Collar Buffalo,NY..... and it hurts bad to

see all these unemployed young people without any decent

    employment....... 'cept'n Gangsta.

I once had the honor of living and working with those

of BFLOs' fabled past, those " Men of Steel " and their

wives and kids . Yes, we've nailed the 'bad guys' and pro-

perly so..... However everything, and that's EVERYTHING,

comes at a price..... True, an area is cleaned up.....along with

the family guys whom once worked in that facility.

"Business" IS business. And just like everything in Nature....

(Law of Physics) She ALWAYS finds the path of least

resistance.....[ yea, we Humans, are every part of Ma

Nature....our brains and the thinking that comes along with

    having this great intellect, included]

Jim Woodring , an artist of the Grand Macabre....in a

fairly recent interview put out a dissertation on how "money"

is really a figment of the natural order of things and it is

impossible to exist as a human without it.

Like it or nay...... it IS what makes the World Tick......

  5. ON three occasions Cruse Ships were caught dumping in our oceans they were find a hefty fine, Exxon was another  what a mess they made it took a couple of years to clean up that mess, we have our week end boaters that are  dumping all kinds of litter in the ocean& lakes, there are hospitals that dump, I know there is more but these are just a few.
