Who is the most Overrated and Underrated in the NBA?

I don't know about overrated,

but my vote for underrated would have to go to Jose Calderon of the Toronto Raptors... but now that he's a set starter his stats will improve, and i think his popularity should increase.

I think the most overrated person in the NBA would have to be Dirk Nowitski.  For the most underrated player, I would have to say Shawn Marion and Baron Davis.

Overrated- Kobe, and i say Derrick Rose even though he hasntplayed a game yet.

Kobe Bryant is the most overhyped player in NBA history and underrated has to be Lebron James at this moment because his team minus him is the worse team in the NBA. He takes them to the second round every year at least and every team that usually bounces out the Cavs is the Champs. Take Kobe from the lakers, you still have a good team. I dont think Kobe makes one player on his team better than they were and dont give him credit for Bynum. We all know he worked with Kareem day and night over last offseason. Kobe didnt attend one of those practices.

Also Shawn Marrion is very underrated. I told the Suns fans they couldnt win without him.

overrated- bruce bowen.. he is a very streaky shooter and that is his only offensive asset as he isnt a good playmaker or slasher.. he is a really good defender but not a great one as i so often hear.. if the spurs had an upgrade at that position they would be considerably better.. underrated- devin harris.. he is a good playmaker and is a good athlete as well.. benefited from being able to come in out of college to a winning team in the mavs.. also is a good defender..

Underrated: LeBron James (i still think people are not talking about him the way i wanted them to talk about him)

Overrated:   DeShawn Stevenson (the hyped talk didn't match the game)

Unrated:      Isaiah Thomas (nobody seems to want to talk about him)

Midrated:    Greg Oden (as much as we want to talk basketball about him is our dismay that basketball it seems doesn't want to have anything to do with him)
