I know she has a picture in stained glass in the cathedral at Metz, France and is the model for the queen in a normal card deck but who is she?

  1. In the standard English playing card deck, the Queen and the other face cards represent no one in particular, although legend states the Queen of Hearts is a representation of Elizabeth of York, queen consort of Henry VII of England. Certainly the headdress the queen wears under her crown is of the Early Tudor era.

    In contrast, French deck manufacturers traditionally assigned each court card a particular historical or mythological personage. The queens in a French deck are traditionally assigned names as follows:[1][2]

        * Queen of Spades: Athena

        * Queen of Hearts: Judith (Biblical figure)

        * Queen of Diamonds: Rachel (Biblical figure)

        * Queen of Clubs: Argine (an anagram of Regina, Latin for "queen")

  2. I don´t know anything about the cards, but I believe that the most betitled woman in the world is currently the Duchess of Alba, of Spain...I think you would consider a duchess royalty?  After all, her name is like, a mile long, with all the titles...and that is assuming that she is still alive...she was pretty old last time I checked.
