Internationally Damien Oliver,  Americans Mike Smith, Garrette Gomez, and of Course Pat Vanezuela who was again suspended for drug abuse. Corky Nat. horse fell and is current injured which our prayers go out to him.

Charmayne James is a barrel racing champion and well known.

Julie Krone a female jockey also burns up the circut in many places. Just to name a few..

well hes a good rider and considers himself to be AMAZING. I told him he needs to not be so conceeded.... lol hes verrrrrrry nice though. His name is Joseph A. Farley (Joe Farley) hes a nice guy. only 16, but a good rider and one of my very best friends

It depends in what discipline you are talking about.  As you have posted this in the horse racing section I presume you mean jockeys.

I'd say the most famous jockeys riding at the moment are Frankie Dettori, Christophe Soumillon, Yutaka Take and Damien Oliver.

I'm afraid I ca't name an American jockey, as we don't get to see much of the racing over here unless you subscribe to certain racing channels.
