I think Mario is more popular than Pikachu but I have heard of both. Both Naruto and Hello Kitty are famous in the U.S. It's like Naruto is known to guys and Hello Kitty is known to girls. I have heard of Ono Yoko but I don't know where I've seen his name. Didn't he sing a Disney song? I would say the most famous is Hello Kitty because there's a lot of Hello Kitty stores here.
