Well there are plenty of overpaid players: Stephin Marbury, Larry Hughes, Ben Wallace, Wally Sczcerbiak, and even Desagna Diop. But when you think about it all of those players help their teams at least a little bit EXCEPT Marbury. Not only is he the most overaid player, but he is hurting his team, not helping.

For someone who doesn't even play... like last season when he decided to leave his team, Stephon Marbury who is making over $20 million/season. That is like Kobe, KG kind of money. Basically every player on the Knicks is overpaid!

RASHARD LEWIS!!!!!!!! he is getting 21 MILLION a year (on average) til 2013!!!!!!!!! and hes almost 30!!!!!!!! Kobe, iverson, KG, these guys get 20 mil a year, not rashard lewis.  Also, Stephon marbury in the last year on his contract getting 21 million as well.  shaq gettin 20 mil.  Kenyon Martin getting 16 million.  Zach Randolph getting 17 million.  these are just a few of the overpaid people.
