  1. LeSean McCoy, "pitts (sic) running back," is quite good and appears to be the real deal.  I don't see you can call 1300+ yards and 14 TDs overrated.

Joe McKnight could be overrated, as he was heavily hyped and had a very streaky season.  People are also calling him a darkhorse Heisman candidate.  He has been both mediocre and brilliant, so the ability is certainly there.  He may be a Heisman candidate in a couple years, but not this year.  So overrated?  Somewhat, but hardly the most overrated player in college.

One possibility for that title would be Curtis Painter, the Purdue QB.  Somehow, Mel Kiper has tabbed him as potentially a top 10 pick in the 2009 draft, which is insane.  He's a decent QB, but never had a banner year.  The only thing he has going for him is tenure, ie, he's been there for a while now.  Nowhere near a top 10 pick, though.

Along the same vein, I honestly believe my hometown Falcons were fools to draft Matt Ryan at #3 and give him such a huge contract.  Talk about vastly overrated.
