How is LeBron James the most overrated player in the NBA? Lebron has proved to be a great player without a team to back him up and he has led to his team to the Finals without pretty much any help like how Kobe had Shaq, Wade had Shaq, etc.

He def. ain't overrated. The most overrated player in the NBA right now is Shaq ... Richard Jefferson is also overrated IMO

you know...I'd LOVE to say Kowannabe since there is more media noise about this guy being the next Mike and all that BUT actually I think it's the Dirkenator...every year for the last few the Mav's go on these winning streaks and a large percentage of the media goes ga-ga about Dirk and on the BIGGEST stage (the Finals) there is he folded like a cheap suitcase...when is he gonna MAN up and take a ring from his opponents....

Definitley not Vince Carter or Lebron.Dirk Nowitski and Steve Nash are.If you watch basketball and are a true NBA fan, the NBA a.k.a. David stern is trying to hype up the international players  to boost there international ratings, i no im a fiend to know this but Canadas and Germanys ratings are almost a third of what the US is(thats alot) do you think dirk deserved that MVP?Steve Nash didnt even deserve it once but twice?!?!?!?Allen Iverson averages about 30 and 10(assist) every season Steve Nash averages about 20 and 12.and Steve Nash just gets his assist by doing wild passes to Amare and you guys praise him and call him the best PG ever;AI had no1 for 11 plus yrs with maybe a 10 percent exception of Andre Igodala and now only has Melo ;AND steve was on a team with 3 allstars and 1 potential allstar not including himself...Dirk averages about 25 and 7(rbounds) 1st of all what 7'1 player only gets 7 rebounds? KG averagers about 27 and 13 now whos better? and h**l Kobe averages about 33, 6 and 6 every season;Lebron averages bout 30,8 and 8.Dwight Howard averages bout 20,14 and 3(blcks)CP3 averages bout 25 and 12.JKidd 10,10 and 10 but Steve Nash and Dirk gets MVPS. LMAO i doubt you know what a brick is. Anyway ill humour u and answer ur question. Not  many people know about DeMarr Johnson, but he is the most overrated player in my opinion. Playing for the hawks and nuggets he posted up terrible stats considering his mpg. He was even drafted 7th overall. Now he plays for like a greek team lol. DeMarr u suck Hawks never needed u!!!

Ever since his rookie season I think Stephon Marbury has been overrated!....

And I think James Posey is overrated too!... Coz as you could see in his stats in NBA.com he averages like 6 or 7 points per game!.... And yet he gets to sign contracts worth 6+ million dollars per year!.... Yes he defends well but he's now old!.... Maybe last season he could still keep up with LBJ and KB24 but he's getting old!....

HAHA not quite to the guy above me, Iverson averages about 26 and 7 a game, while nash averages about 20 and 11, and w/o nash, phoenix is not very good.  the only reason A.I even gets 7 assists a game is cuz he plays all 48 mins, and passes only when he feels like it.  I would have to say.....Dirk (he sucks!) T-Mac (SOOOO Overrated, cant even play 60 games in a season!) and Lebrick, since if he wasnt so athletic, he has no game
