I don't mean wealth wise, I mean real power. I have a feeling it may be Sonia Gandhi from India but I am not totally sure.

  1. Me.  Because I am the only one who can end my life at any time I want.  It would take other people time to get here to do it.  Which means I have the power of life and death.

  2. let's face it. we already know its not bush. thats one idiot down! and no one has more power than God

  3. Ye who owns the largest company of brewery...

Is ye who makes the people happy...

Is ye who gives to the people what the people want...

And is ye who can get whatever he wants in return.

  4. ME! MUAHAHAHAH....

no but seriously...good question. i'd like to know myself.

  5. I would have to say God but my second choice would be the pope

  6. Man, that is a easy one...It is you, yourself.....Only you have the power over yourself, to change things you want to change, or not change things if you do not want to...Sounds corny....really sit and think about it.

  7. Ha, ha, yr avatar suggests why you believe it’s her. Sonia Gandhi may be a VERY POWERFUL person (, esp. in India where she may be one of the 3 most powerful characters) but definitely NOT the top 3 in the world.

If U ask me slightly over a decade ago, I will say its the US president but today with the US continuing stamping their own feet while countries like China, Russia, India and others are moving forward. The dust has yet to be settled but even lesser players, like Venezuela can play punk with US, you know how ineffective the US is right now.

The leader of one of the top 5 strongest country with the most number of strong allies will be the most powerful “voice” but I would say none at the moment.

It’s an alliance thingy right now where NATO allies (US, EU ...) along with Shanghai co-op (China, Russia ...). NATO allies is still more powerful (amid close to standstill), greater tech innovation, bigger arsenal and economic while Shanghai co-op nations are rapidly building up theirs now.

I don’t know if the US can get back on her feet (and achieve a mid-term revival of nation success) but things look in favor to Shanghai co-op leading nations where either China or Russia will lead, depending on their national advancement and number of important allies they can muster, India is one such KEY ally.

However, things won’t be straight forward as hiccups are bound to happen. A good example is the current economic bubble. China won’t be spared as it’s in an even greater domestic credit risk than US which I would liken to the one Japan faced in the late 1980s to 1990s.

Nonetheless, with a large educated population, land, resources and huge foreign reserve treasury, it will be able to create strong domestic market to give it better protection from foreign turmoil, making itself attractive to exporter nation, thereby creating closer trading ties (and probable political allies).

  8. Who weigh well the strength of the deed, his own strength, the strength of his enemy, and the strength of the allies, and then act.
