    actually..

Most Successful with the Fans: Hulk Hogan. He brought about an era where not only did fans know who he was, but people who didn't even know what wrestling was knew who he was.

Most Successful in titles: Ric Flair. He holds a record 16 world championships, spanning three federations.

Most Successful in Merchandising: Stone Cold Steve Austin. He's sold more merchandise than any other wrestling personality to date.

Most Successful in WWE Currently: John Cena. His title reigns are longer than most (save JBL) and his merchandising is starting to rival Stone Cold's first year.

Most Successful to never be in the WWE: Sting. He has never been in the WWE (or any incarnation of it), and doesn't want to be. Yet, he's gotten a following on the "outside" scene that rivals Flair's...

Most Successful Tag Team: Team 3D (Dudley Boys). They've won a total of 20 tag team titles in FIVE federations (ECW, WWE, WCW, NWA, TNA).

Most Successful OUTSIDE of wrestling: The Rock. He had a great wrestling career, but after he retired, his fame grew worldwide, doing action movies and comedy movies... proving that he isn't typecast as "The Rock."

  9. The Undertaker!

  10. its gotta be the Ultimate Warrior!!!!!

  12. Now - Ken Shamrock

    Future - Brock Lesnar

  13. I would say 'The Rock' is the most successful, because of the career he's made for himself on the back of it.

Otherwise the most Famous would have to be Big Daddy or more recently The Undertaker.

  14. Undertaker since he's undefeated at Wrestlemania and he's been wrestling for a long time...like 18 years.

  15. me

  16. You need to be more specific. And so does a lot of other people when asking questions. Use the "Add Details" so we can know exactly what you mean.

    2nd Triple H

    3rd  Undertaker

  26. The Undertaker

I hope this helped you out a bit.

  28. Sadly I'm going to have to go with hulk hogan. He was the reason for gimmicks and was the first face of wwf/e company back in the 80's.

  29. All the guys listed above have been beaten. SO, the guy that only had 1 match and WON it would be the absolute best in this situation.

  30. I would say the most successful wrestler ever was Hulk Hogan. Even people who don't follow wrestling know who he is. He was one of the first wrestlers to break away from the ring and make movies. He took wrestling to a whole new level in the 80's. Anytime he makes an appearance for the WWE the whole building erupts. He's made the most money and has had a good career racking up numerous championship reigns. The word legend gets thrown around a lot in wrestling but Hulk is the true definition of a legend. He is immortal no matter how you feel about him personally. He's accomplished a lot during his career. He body slammed Andre The Giant, shocked the whole world by forming the nWo, got his own tv show, and has made millions upon millions of dollars.
