  1. idk. maybe nalbandien or berdych

  2. Nadal. everybody thinks he is just the king of clay, he has won titles on hardcourts and been in the wimbleon final.

  3. Sharapova

  4. I have to agree with the Wawrinka - he's an excellent player but you hardly hear about him. Also, I agree with the assesment of Maria Sharapova's clay game, she's much better than people give her credit for.  And probably Robredo is better than people say, but I don't like him because he's too skinny and dresses too... well, dull, and his parents named him after some hippy and we have to hear pat mcenroe say that 100 times. Still, he's underrated overall.

  5. Demetieva, more so on clay. While I am not a huge fan of hers, she hits one of the more consistent, hardest groundstrokes on the womens tour, and has shown in the past and present that on clay more so, she is not to be over looked.

  6. I would have to say it would be Mikahl Youzney or David Nalbandian.

  7. Definately Federer - he is hardly ever given the accolades he deserves.

After winnning 12 grand-slams when he lost the Australian open the press were saying Federer is finished.

  8. Do people not read the question? The person asked for no number 1's or number 2's and the dummies reply with the number 1's and 2's...(sigh). If by most underrated you mean the biggest underachiever, I would say on the men's side it is Dmitry Tursunov from Russia. He has as much talent as anyone in the world, but the guy has no mental game, no strategy to speak of. If he got his act together he could win on every surface and be in the top 10 easily. Jose Higueras has tried to work with him without success. Patrick McEnroe described him perfectly: "Dmitry is a great shot-maker, but there is a huge difference between being a great shot-maker and a great tennis player". Cheers!

  9. stanislas wawrinka.. he's very talented and i think he's close if not in the top 10 already.. but he's barely recognized especially being the swiss no. 2 under roger federer

also.. sharapova on clay and her net game.. it's better than what most people think
