I lean towards Brian Westbrook, but I'm sure you could make an argument for several players. Give me some of your thoughts...

  1. Marion Barber of the Cowboys....

He never takes a play off, he runs with reckless abandon. When he runs you can just tell he wants it.

  2. I would say Deangeolo Williams, running back for the Carolina Panthers. He has averaged 5 yards a carry as a back up for Deshaun Foster. And also for a offensive who until this year has only had one offensive weapon which is Steve Smith. He will finally be the starter this year but wont be the only workhorse seeing that he will be playing in a two back system with Jonathan Stewart.

  3. I would go with Turner! Most people haven't heard of him because he was a backup to LT! Now he has a starting job and we should be able to see what he can do!

  4. Michael Turner

it's make it or break it this year for him

and he SHOULD make it but idk lol we'll find out =]

  5. The most underrated running back in my opinion is Brian Westbrook. Not only is he a threat in the back field, he is a threat in the passing game as well. In six seasons, Westbrook has racked up 3,207 receiving yards and 4,785 rushing yards with only six fumbles total in his career. I think he well be a good Hall of Fame choice once he retires.

  6. well one i would say being a bears fan is thomas jones. When they let him go i knew it was the beginning of the end.He has heart and will do what it takes to get done what he can.He will complmant favre well.If ronnie brown can stay healthy he is a good back also. You might want to even watch julious jones this year

  7. Running backs are a dime a dozen.  We've had a few superstars, but there are a lot  in the muddled middle.  That's because 90% of the back's talent is the offensive line.  The underrated ones, IMO, are the ones who can, like timex, take a l*****g and keep on ticking.  That is why I'd vote for Westbrook

  8. Guys, a Pro Bowler is not underrated!

My pick is Joseph Addai.  He learned the IND offense and won the super bowl in his rookie year.

  9. Lawrence Maroney

He hardly ever gets the ball in the system he is in but he is much better than his numbers show. He just hardly gets any touches.

  10. I think generally rb's get their dues but if i had to say one it would be fred taylor cmon the guys never been to the pro bowl nor gets the respect he deserves.

  11. LaDainian Tomlinson. Just kidding. It is probably Brian Westbrook or Marion Barber. Westbrook and Barber both don't get much attention because their quarterbacks hog it all. Donovan McNabb with injuries and Tony Romo going to Mexico with his hot girlfriend. Both backs get 1,000 total yards each season. Sometimes even 1,000 yards just rushing!

  12. Even as the hype has grown lately i would still have to say westbrook he is the most versatile back in the nfl.
