Who is the next queen of Monaco?

Will Prince Albert ever get married? Who would be the next queen of Monaco? Or is he g*y and just has these illigimate children so that he can cover up his gayness?

Monaco is a principality and thus ruled by a Prince, not a King.  The wife of the monarch would thus be a Princess, not a Queen.

Albert is almost 50 and has shown no interest in getting married to anyone, seeming to prefer to date supermodels and other gorgeous women.  The next monarch, then, is most likely to be his sister, Princess Caroline.

1 - HRH Princess Caroline, the Princess of Hanover, Hereditary Princess of Monaco and Heiress Presumptive, elder sister of Albert II

2 - Andrea Casiraghi, elder son of Princess Caroline and Stefano Casiraghi

3 - Pierre Casiraghi, younger son of Princess Caroline and Stefano Casiraghi

4 - Charlotte Casiraghi, daughter of Princess Caroline and Stefano Casiraghi

5 - HRH Princess Alexandra of Hanover, daughter of Ernst August V, Prince of Hanover and Princess Caroline

6 - HSH Princess Stéphanie of Monaco, younger sister of Albert II

7 - Louis Ducruet, only son of Princess Stéphanie and Daniel Ducruet

8 - Pauline Ducruet, daughter of Princess Stéphanie and Daniel Ducruet

All of the above are heirs presumptive; that is, they could be moved down the list if Albert II were to father a legitimate child. If Albert's firstborn were a daughter, she would become the first in line, but still an heiress presumptive; on the other hand, his first son would be the heir apparent, who could not be displaced by any future births.

Caroline's descendants are ahead of Stéphanie and her legitimate descendants, and will remain so even if Caroline herself died or renounced her claim to the throne.

Apparently, there will be no Queen of Monaco due to his disinclination to marry, which also gave rise to rumors that he is g*y. Prince Albert has consistently denied this suggestion of marriage and claimed not to be a homosexual since he has two children born out of wedlock.

The next Queen of Monaco could be his sister, Princess Caroline of Monaco (though she is only the heiress-presumptive and not heiress-apparent). An heiress presumptive is the person provisionally scheduled to inherit a throne, peerage, or other hereditary honor, but whose position can be displaced by the birth of an heir apparent or of a new heir presumptive with a better claim to the throne. An heiress apparent is an heiress who cannot be displaced from inheriting.

Princess Caroline is first in line followed by her son, Andrea Casiraghi, who is second in line to the throne until Prince Albert should have legitimate descendants born of a recognized marriage.

I think it would be princess and not queen.  Monaco does not seem very concerned, so perhaps they have figured something out.

Albert has said neither of his children will be eligible for the throne in statements confirming their paternity.  As of July 2007, Caroline, Princess of Hanover, remains first in the line of succession to the Monegasque throne. Though she is only the heiress-presumptive and not heiress-apparent, Caroline is the Hereditary Princess of Monaco according to the Grimaldi house law.

Until Albert should have legitimate descendants born of a recognized marriage, Caroline's eldest son, the untitled Andrea Casiraghi, is second in line to the throne.

Monaco doesn't have a king and queen.  They have a prince and, sometimes, a princess.   If Albert dies without legitimate issue, then Princess Caroline becomes the reigning monarch.  After Princess Caroline, her four children, Andrea, Pierre, Charlotte Casiraghi and Princess Alexandra are up next. Then you have Princess Stephanie and her two legitimate children, Louis and Pauline Ducruet.  The rules were changed in 2002 to prevent illegitimate children from inheriting.
