It was George Blanda. He retired at the age of 48, like everybody else here has said. Gary Anderson only played until he was 45.

Yes, it was George Blanda.  I think he played until he was like 62 (not really).

It's currently Blanda.  But if Morten Andersen plays this season he will surpass his record.  Actually, today is Andersens 48th birthday.  Born August 19, 1960.  So if he gets in a game 111 days from now, the record will be his.

I believe it's George Blanda. He played QB/PK for the Raiders before eventually specializing in PK. He was kicking into his fifties.
