As others have mentioned, King Gyanendra is indeed rich... it could also be Gyan Bahadhur. I've read from some magazines on wealthy Nepalese...

the richest man in Nepal is the owner of khettan group of industries.this is according the tax payer information. but from real view point king must have richest wealth in the country.

Could be the King. But what about the Choudhary groups n stuff. They must be pretty rich too. And they live in Nepal (or do they not). Does any1 remember, there ws a Nepali person who was said to have been friends with George Bush and other big people(international). And he ws interviewed by Bhusan Dahal in Kantipur TV as well. I missed that programme. But he must be the richest Nepali.
