  1. aparently the person in question cannot be named because of legal reasons which they are saying is due to the fact that the two accused are on trial at present and this stops all names being disclosed at present... it stated on the news last night that there were 40 "royals" in the family and that it was not an immediate one....i.e. the queen or any of the princes or such....

  2. It's definitely Lord Frederick Windsor, it's already being talked about in the USA and Australia

  3. NO people it's

    ta da***************"Princess Diana"

  4. Don't know who it is, but I think we should know

  5. Viscount Linley?

  6. why dont they just name and shame them.

  7. the queen mum

  8. Viscount Linley:

    1.  Performs no royal duties (not on the Court Circular)

    2.  In the line of succession to the Monarchy

    3.  Male (the suspect is confirmed as male)

    4.  Right age to want a little action (not too old, not too young)

    5.  Right age to have an aide

    6.  Right occupation to have an aide (since too junior to have one from Royal Family)

Only sticking point:  Does he have a "personal insignia," with which the envelope was supposedly embossed?  Perhaps he does, even though he isn't titled yet (Viscount is a courtesy title, his father the Earl of Snowdon is the actual Viscount).

  9. I think its Lord Freddie Windsor..

    Princess Michael of Kents son

    But thats just me.

The foreign press can't be stopped from naming them so it will come out

  10. The person can't be named because of ongoing legal action.  As to who it might be, it seems that it is a somewhat "junior" royal, which means not high on the list of accession.  Also, the amount of money asked for is relatively small, all things considered.  Makes me think it's probably being done by someone young - not a criminal type.  The person is probably a niece or nephew or cousin of the Crown.  My guess.

  11. My guess is that it is Prince Edward.

  12. prince Charlie

    loves the Charlie

    lol

  13. I think it is Camilla, because no one likes her.

  14. DOES IT MATTER LEAVE THEM ALONE the courts aren't realising their name cuz its nobodies business everyone should get on with their own lives instead of worrying about others

  15. Its...................oops  here comes MI5. I'm off before I'm put in the tower.

  16. The royal, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, had a low public profile. The Sun newspaper reported neither Prince William nor his brother Prince Harry were involved. The Times newspaper reported that it was an alleged homosexual act.

However, it has been revealed that David Albert Charles Armstrong-Jones, Viscount Linley was named as being the royal at the center of a blackmail scandal. Viscount Linley (born 3 November 1961), known professionally as David Linley, is a member of the British Royal Family, the son of Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon and 12th in the line of succession to the British throne. He is the chairman of Christie's UK, the international auction house.

Lord Linley married The Hon. Serena Stanhope on 8 October 1993. They have two children, The Hon. Charles Armstrong-Jones, born in 1999, and The Hon. Margarita Armstrong-Jones, born in 2002.

Ironically, he was the only one in the first 12 places in the line of succession to marry anyone who held a rank or title after Prince Charles who married Lady Diana Spencer. His wife, before marriage, was styled "The Honourable" and if her father had become an earl she would have risen to the rank of "Lady." His own children now hold the title that his wife was born with.

Lord Linley is a manufacturer of furniture, upholstery and interior design products known for their neoclassical appearance, dramatic use of inlaid woods, and attractiveness to high-profile clients such as Oprah Winfrey, for whom he designed a desk. He founded his own company, called LINLEY, in 1985.
