  1. Eddie Gaedel.  A dwarf who was something like 3'8"  who had one at bat (a walk) in the early 50's who appeared for the St. Louis Browns as part of a publicity stunt put on by Bill Veeck - the guy who ultimately ran the White Sox and put on "Death to Disco" night.


  2. Bobby Shantz who won the AL MVP in 1952 was 5'6".
