Who is the smartest person you know and why do you think she/he is all that?

I think that naming one person the 'smartest' is too general.  I know people who seem to have every history fact memorized, but they're worthless at math.  Everyone has strengths and weaknesses.

hello, if we start looking around our  environments  ,we ill find it amazing  planet  ,coz every thing  arround us even up there in the   sky ,   has built it  for a reason  as far  and that match with  every one    no matter where they are or how they are  ,we created for a purpose  and how is the creature or how is the one makes all of those  miracles,i think in my opinion ,its the greatest or smartest one , ITS OUR GOD ,ALLAH my regards ,[e-mail]

A friend of mine from high school.  Since he was a kid when we were in elementary school the guy was an ace in anything. He kept it up after college, he travels, knows a lot about geography and is not athletic.

My Partner..because he is! He is just someone who loves people, from the Low socio-economic society to the people in High Society! Everyone has a story to tell & we continue to learn. No 1 person can know everything in a lifetime!

I have a really close friend who was born penniless, and has never held a job.  Despite that, he is able to live in a very nice house with no mortgage or rent to pay, and two personal servants who are on call to cater to his every whim 24/7.  

My cat is definitely the smartest person I know.  Much smarter than myself, by the looks of things.
