Biden... If something happens to Obama, Biden can step in without much hassle. But if something happens to McCain, suddenly you have this completely unknown woman in charge of the country.

Senator Joe Biden is the much better choice, He has travelled with Presidential nominee Barack Obama, Senator d**k Lugar and others to see what's going on in Iraq. He gives Obama a base of experience, and wisdom to the ticket.

Actually, I've never heard of Sarah Palin before in my life, until yesterday. I have said it before, and I will repeat myself here. I don't really think Senator McCain wants to win this election. Take a good hard look at his running mate. A woman who has 0 experience overseas. Someone who would gain the presidency, if anything were to keep McCain from serving his term fully. It is simply too RISKY! How wise is the choice of McCain???  He has only met the woman twice, before his nomination of her to be his running mate. He is growing less credible every day.

That is unless he is just being prudent, choosing someone with absolutely no experience, a scapegoat so to say, that he and Republicans alike can blame for losing the election. The Grand Old Party is well known for the scapegoat. They needed an outsider to blame for their repeated failures, and loss of the White House, because they can never take the blame themselves.

Palin is too young and inexperienced. One of the roles of VP is to take over the running of the country if anything happens to the president.

Not sure if she'll keep a cool head when the red phone rings in the middle of the night.

Strength has nothing to do with it. It's all about the policies they want to implement and if they can get a majority to agree with them. So, the question really is how on earth will Osama, I mean Obama going to fulfill all those "I will" promises he made at his covention. "I will this.... and I will that".     He said I will about a thousand times.

Biden is stronger because we can trust him to be a competent president should something happen to Obama.  We cannot be sure about Palin given her limited exposure to world events.  She is an expert on Alaska and has some notable skills, but no thanks.  Not acceptable to me.  McCain has had poor judgment all of his life, otherwise he would be a successful Naval Admiral.

Depends on what someone is looking for.  Biden is part of the old established way of doing things, has been in Washington forever, and garnered only 9,000 votes in his bid for the nomination.  Palin is outside Washington has a proven track record of going up against anyone not working in the best interest of the people, turned down pork barrel money for her state, and understands the complex nature of extracting oil while preserving the environment.   If someone is looking for real CHANGE, Palin.
