  1. The tallest king and queen were the ones who towered over the populace.  Take that, minion!

  2. Edward IV was found to be something like 6'3½" when his skeleton was exhumed in the 18th century.

  3. Height has always been relative. Edward I was a tall man at a time when the average height  was 5'7".Edward I was nicknamed Longshanks because of his height.  He was 6'2" tall.  Canute the Great was apparently a tall man, but I have been unable to discover his height.

Edward IV, however, was 6'4", a true giant among men.  Like you, Red.

Elizabeth I is described as tall, but as flattery was the name of the game where she was concerned, one cannot attach too much credence to physical descriptions of her.

  4. Don't know about a queen, but Edward Longshanks was reputedly very tall

  5. If Prince William becomes King he'll be our tallest King ever.

  6. mini me and his missis

  7. prince giraffe, and queen tall t**t. royals rob the country, line em up and throw stones at them, who gives a flying t**d mate,

    sort your head out

    its hacking time redmonk

  8. Richard 1 ("Lionheart") was also reputed to be extremely tall, as was Boudicea (who should definitely qualify as a "British Queen", although she was not Queen of England, as such), although both their actual heights are lost in the mists of time.

  9. i know i know..... there are NO one is tallest.....because all UKer are not consider tall.....goodgood??
