Kasparov  is running for Russian political office - he's retired. That's like saying Jack Nicklaus is the #1 golfer....

As far as attacking masters is tal,world champion in the early 60's.To play and think like him would make just about anyone unbeatable.At the time brought entire new way of playing to chess,read his bio play over his games you will be very happy you did and a good way to enjoy chess games.
