This has got to be based mainly on catches per test match. IMO, these are the worst:

(1) Zaheer Khan (0.25) (2) Irfan Pathan (0.28) (3) Anil Kumble (0.45) (4) Harbhajan Singh (0.52) (5) Sourav Ganguly (0.65) (6) Tendulkar (0.67) (7) Sehwag (0.79) (8) Laxman (1.05) (9) Dravid (1.41).

India's fielding is its greatest negative. Runs can not be saved well and catches can not be taken. Both these aspects make bowling look mediocre which it is not.

Worst fielder and that too in team India? Never, never. They are great fielders. It is different that Kaif, Raina, Yuvraj, Uthappa, Ghabmhir are exceptional fielders, Sachin, Dravid, Sharma, Harbhajan, and Irfan are not so bad fielders at any rate. Ganguli, Laxman,and Kumble maybe a step slower but they don't drop the ball either. It has become fashionable to criticize Indian team on all accounts meaning in bowling, fielding, and even bating! If they are bad in all departments then how come they are wining more matches than losing them?
