Kate- Somehow Therrien is a genius for leading the Penguins to the Cup? Heck, the late Ivan Hlinka could have (and almost did, back in 2001) done the same thing. So could have Rick Kehoe and Eddie O. For the past sixteen seasons, all you really had to do with the Penguins is turn the team on "autopilot" and watch them score. When they struggled at the beginning of the decade, the Penguins didn't have the talent (albeit a broken-down Mario and an emerging Sidney Crosby) to compensate for the other holes in their team game.

Mike Keenan is pretty bad.  He ruins the morale of teams by alienating certain players he chooses not to like.  The guy is a jackass.  He also has certain worthless players he used to always trade for, like Peter Zezel and Brian Noonan.  These guys probably kissed his @ss a lot.
