When I was about 7 years old, my school went to a Native-American convocation in Sacramento, CA. While I was walking around with my family, a smiling Navajo woman came up to me and placed her hand on my head.

She told me "Don't worry atsa-beyaz. Bee-al do shush will come to help you." then she hugged me and said something to my teacher and walked away.

I've since learned that Atsa-beyaz means "Little eagle" and Bee-al do shush means "Big Bear."

I felt sick the next day, but I don't know if that had anything to with the old woman.

So, my question is...Who is this "Big Bear" she told me about?

This was about 25 years ago and it has confounded me ever since.

  1. What an incredible gift you have received.  You were given the name Little Eagle and your Guardian Spirit is Big Bear.  As your Guardian Spirit, Big Bear has been helping you along your path.

Although the fact that you felt sick the next day could be a coincidence,  I have known people who have felt ill after having a powerful spiritual experience--not because the experience was negative, but because it was just "so much."  (Similar to when a child has had a big, exciting day at Disneyland--the next day they feel exhausted from all the energy they expelled the day before.)
