  1. Favre is mostley to blame but to not look at him again they traded him to the AFC cause if they traded him to the Vikings they would have been embarresed by Brett when he played them.

  2. Lets blame Bush on this one too, anyway he's on his way out

  3. who cares

honestly, nobody gives a **** about whose fault it is

  4. Both are to blame, BUT more to blame on the management than Favre.  Favre had every right to start for GB whether he said he retired or not.  As most of you people DO NOT KNOW, this has been an issue 3 years ago when t**d Thompson came around.  He is the worse thing that happened to GB and you will see this year.  Aaron is a good QB, but he would be a second stringer on 25 NFL teams.  He can not throw accurate over 10 yards, thats a fact (check NFL.com)  But anyways, they treated Favre wrong for the last 3 years, Thompson wanted Rogers and got him and tried to push Favre to the back burner ever since.  Favre retiring actually allowed Thompson to finally step in and say we dont want you Favre, here is $20 million to go away, without the fans actually trying to kill him.   This is like telling Dan Marino not to come back because they have Damon Huard.

  5. Mostly Favre.  But of course the management didn't help by allowing it to happen, but they also need to take what the public and fans want in to consideration.  So, in the end, it wouldn't have been problem if Favre would have just kept his mouth shut and stayed in retirement.

  6. nobody.  its just old age catching up.  :)

  7. You know what to give you an honest answer no one really knows the truth too much he said he did c**p out there. Personally I felt It was Brett if that would have been his first time (not going to play) then he wanted to come back ok, but 4 times from a grown man just wears people out. Brett moved on when he retired, Packers moved on when he did. The problem I had with the organization was delaying this mess. They should have traded him as soon as he said he wanted to play since they knew they were not going to change their minds..People forget Brett's retiring speech (under no circumstances will i come back) well the packers had to have a quarterback

  8. Favre is to blame for the mess in Green Bay. He has held that organization hostage before, and he was doing it again. They made the right move trading him. At some point you have to move on with your team, and stop letting 1 guy bring the whole organization to a standstill.

  9. Both.

The real problem was, its never really happened in professional sports, so there was no precedent, no book on how to deal with it.

Montana story was different; he didn't want to retire, and they already had an MVP in Steve Young, so they traded him.

  10. THE ZOHAN!

  11. Favre should have never retired if he still wanted to play

    Favre

  12. both.. just like manny in boston both sides muddied up the water so only clear thing that could be seen was their way out of town..

  13. Favre.

  14. Favre. He and his wife are really a pair of beauties. Good job by the Packers. I'll bet Favre still doesn't understand what hit him. He's probably in shock to think he didn't get his way. Sometimes life comes at you hard.
