Normally most would say Roberts without thinking too hard but after last night it is Malone but you are forgetting that gonchar had injured his back and came back as well.  I am very impressed with the defensemen for stepping up in the almost three periods of hockey without gonchar.  5 defensemen hanging in the way they did very impressed.  Every single player stepped up last night.  Let's Go Pens!  Sorry but maybe like your icon they are with a female companion.

Malone had no choice in the puck to the face.  If he could have, he'd have ducked, but there was no time for that.

FLEURY29's answer is what I'd probably say. Ryan Malone's always got a banged up, bruised face. He'll probably always have one if he plays like his former mentor, John Leclair. Yeah, yeah, he's a tough SOB. BUT, Sergei Gonchar did what some Pens (including Brooks Orpik) called "gutsy". He hurt his back and came back onto the bench in 3OT for moral support. However, the coaches asked him if he'd QB the PP and he said he'd try. So with a hurt back (who knows how bad it was/is) Gonch QBs the PP that puts the Wings away and wins the game. Sounds dramatic, but hey, it was. That's heroics!
