For me it's Dwyane Wade, his dedication is rivaled only by Kobe Bryant as shown in this Olympics, and he is still improving. The guy is just fearless, and his drives to the basket is with much gusto. This Olympics, he definitely is the MVP.

Current is Wade (now that we know from the Olympics that he is recovered), T-Mac before the back issues, Redd has the purest shooting touch and is a lefty and his baseline dunk against Spain was greatness, and Kobe (when he's not playing small forward).

From the past I would say (of guys I actually saw play) Jordan, and Sidney Moncrief (he also could play point).  Here's a quote from Jordan on Sir Sid:  "When you play against Moncrief, you're in for a night of all-around basketball. He'll hound you everywhere you go, both ends of the court. You just expect it." and Rolando Blackman (I grew up in Dallas and he was a class act all the way, and those free throws at the all star game are an all time great moment).

Kobe is hands down the best sg in my opinion. He has it all, he can score, assist, play D. However, wade is a close second for me. I was one of those non believers when he got injured, i thought he'd never get back to the way he was before the injury. But hes proven me wrong with the way hes playing in Beijing right now! You gotta admire his dedication to the game. go USA :D
