  1. Grand-father

    Father

    Eldest son

  2. .....the father of course of every saudi household....

  3. What are you trying to imply? Men are in charge in almost every Saudi family and this is no generalization. The extent to which men force themselves to women varies, but men always feel it's their right to impose.

You sound sympathetic, you shouldn't be. I've come to know a number of Saudis- their mentality is appalling. The contempt is well deserved.

  4. I am alot far and alot too ignorant to answer this one but I think it would be wise woman or Grand father or father of the family.

  5. the father. if there is no father, then the oldest son.

  6. In Jeddah its the wife.

Sorry Jeddah people! Couldnt help it! Hahaha

Actually in Riyadh too some cant say no to their women either. On the other hand some men are over-bossy, because of lack of confidence, having something to prove.

I think the stereotype of persian girls as well is that they, although pretty, arent that submissive to men. ( And by men I mean husbands )

  7. In general, women let men think they're in control when actually it's the woman.  The man is the head of the family, but the woman is the neck.  She tells the head where to turn!!!

  8. in my experience.. although the man/grandfather/uncle is supposedly the breadwinner... all decisions are made by the matriarch of the family.. the mother/grandmother...

We've always said.. Lets go over to granmothers house. (although my grandfather owns it).. He's like a silent partner.. she runs the house, she tells everyone what to do, where to do it, how its done..etc...
