Who is very concerned that Iran can launch a missile from a ship in the ocean and destroy life as we know it?

The subject has been brought up that Iran may be able to launch a scud type missle as early as 2009 and disable the United States killing up to 80% of its population.

Sure, I am, like I was when I was told Saddam could launch a missile in 45 minutes and create a direct threat to people in London, or Captain Picard could launch a photon missile and wipe out the Borg.

There is absolutely no reason for any such concern.  Neither Iran nor anyone else has a doomsday weapon, launchable from a ship or otherwise.

Let me think, nukes have been around for 3 generations...I'm trying to remember who actually used them on a civilian target...only one country have ever done such a thing...and they did it not once but twice...I KNOW!  The USA.

What? They have to photoshop launches of land missiles to make them look better! They're lucky they could hit Israel with a missile. Kill 80% of the American population? With what? They don't even have one atomic bomb yet.

Let's get real...  The US spends about the same as all other countries combined on the military. It is mass suicide for Iran to launch a nuclear missile. It's more likely to occur as a false flag operation.

We need to engage in the nuclear arms treaties that we've passed and disarm the world. It seems likely that a error in judgment or other mistake will inevitably cost the lives of millions of people. We were within a hairs breath of annihilating millions during the Cuban missile crisis.

I'm sick of politicians promoting conflict and calling nuclear power "clean and safe." Experience has proven both assumptions to be utterly absurd.

No nation on earth would want to commit suicide. If any country did there are US and British nuclear submarines that would immediately hit hack and destroy the country that did it.  As these subs spend most of the time at sea they could never be destroyed.

I remember when they claimed that Saddam Hussein could launch duct taped together drones across the Atlantic Ocean to drop chemical weapons on the United States.  I didn't believe it.

The longest range scuds they make have a range of a little over 600 miles, which means they could get all the way to Turkey.

Everyone should be concerned they have made comments about a new technology type missile and that the 80's nukes are old news! It is almost like they are provoking everyone, it is sickening to me. I have heard they have that sort of power now. I sure hope they do not use it.
