Who is waiting on a review of Madden 09 before they go buy it?

I know I am. I refuse to buy any video game without reading a review. All of the past 4 Madden games have been the same game, which is pathetic. Mind you, I'm a fan of Madden, but it blows me how people make it seem like a must to buy it every year. It needs to be made every two years with roster updates.

Also, I'm NOT paying $65 for any video game. That's is ridiculous, no video game is worth that and is beneath me. I say wait until it hit $40 on Half.com and grab it.

I agree with you. I'm gonna wait for the reviews before buying it ;-).

I'm not a Madden fan, but I feel like I wanna buy it this year, because I've watched the game in youtube and it looks awesome.!!

EA said that there are going to be 85 new features so they better be good ;-)

IGN is a good reviewer but sometimes I'm thinking, do big companies pay them just to get a 10/10 review for their game???

But I'm gonna trust IGN and if madden gets a review of at least 8.5 and what they think about the game, I'm gonna get it.

Why buy madden the year it comes out.  Thats just ridiculous.

If you wait one year it will drop to half. if you wait 2 years it will be about 10 dollars. if you wait 3 years it will be about 5 dollars.  Thats the way of the madden.  If you wait. it will go down.  used copies of course. they usually stop selling them when the new madden comes out. or they'll just make the leftovers greatest hits.

don't go to gamespot.com or ign.com. they are the worst reviewers. they get paid by big companies to give good reviews to s**+tty games. try metacritic. it has a summary of all the reviews by different websites and it averages all of their scores on the game.
