  1. I'm a big fan of both, but I have to go with Tiger on this one.  According to golf norms, Tiger has not even reached his peak yet.  If that is true, the numbers he is going to put up are going to truly be remarkable.

  2. tiger

  3. It's not doubt that Michael put a gigantic, dominant stamp in the game of basketball.  But the comparison between Tiger and Michael is difficult, because basketball is a team sport...and there are many 'ifs' involved.  If Michael had been traded to a team other than the Chicago Bulls, would the mixture of players suited him and his game?   Would he have been so dominant?  How about if there were a primadonna on the team who insisted on making points also and hogging the ball?  Would Michael have gotten his chance to shine?

I would have to say then that Tiger Wood is/was more dominant, because he has to compete against everybody and beat down the entire field every time he plays.  I think that Michael Jordan would even agree, because he's a golfer.

  4. Woods.  Jordan had a team to rely on, and while he was great, he also benefitted from the likes of Dennis Rodman, Scotty Pippen, and others.  Tiger has only himself and his mental strength to rely on.  And, he is on a 7 in a row role, if you count the Target Championship.

  5. This is a tough question. Jordan played on a team sport where they all depended on him and he on them. Tiger plays golf, where it is just up to you to dominate. I would have to say Tiger is more dominant just because he does not have anyone to take the shot for him.

  6. Tiger woods.  Golf is starting to grow and spread into other countries while the NBA has peaked.  Jordan in his prime and Tiger today are about equal but Tiger hasn't peaked yet.  He will have a long remembered legacy in a more prestigious sport.  Jordan had a team and its hard to compair the two sports.

Tiger has accomplished more as an individual making him in my eyes more dominant. Its a difficult game I've been trying for years.

  7. Woods by far.  Jordan was very good and he played on a team that dominated for a while but Woods is the best at his game now and will, as long as he doesn't just drop dead, soon be the best in the history of a sport that's much older than basketball.

And it may get tiresome for many but I only watch golf matches to see Tiger crush the competition. And he seems to do that regularly.

  8. Tiger will dominate all sports for a long time

  9. Hi kirktheg,

  10. Jordan.

  11. I would have to say Woods is more dominant.  I watched Jordan win championships with the Bulls and he had four other guys on the floor helping him, and overall the team winning percentage wasn't as high as Woods recent winning percentage.  I am NOT a huge fan of Woods, but I am begining to think he is putting together one of the most dominant performances ever in sports.

  12. MJ, BABY!!! 23 what WHAT?!

Seriously, put them both in an athletic decathlon.

    Watch Jordan own him.

  13. Tiger. He has outlasted them all. Jordan quit for two years. Tiger didnt
