  1. I suppse the old man, seeing as he has had loads of more experience than the child. As they say, one day older, one day wiser ;-).

  2. depends on the stubborness of each person

  3. The elder is wise, but not always.

I'm in my late teen and many people say I'm a wise guy. And I mean many

  4. Nice one. Well, The child asks more questions and the old buddy has experience, so both are wise in thier own different ways.

  5. The child is wiser, the old man has lost some of his ideas and beliefs because of the way of the world. The child knows everything that is important in life and how to enjoy it (more than we can say about adults). Knowledge is worth nothing when someone else knows all the same knowledge as yourself. The child still houses a vivid imagination with ideas that no one else has ever thought of, this makes the child wiser.

  6. The old man of course, age is life, a life of learning , is knowledge, and knowledge is wisdom, a  child has still  got a whole Lotta of growing and learning to do, or should I say got all of their life ahead of them, then one-day maybe they'll be wise, just like ME, I'm full of life, learning and knowledge, so full of Wisdom...

  7. The child is invariably innocent but not wise, because he has not had the experience of life. The old man, if wise, will regain that innocence AFTER having gone through the experiences of life.

  8. I would say that some times old people are like children, and children could be sometimes like old.

Anyway I'm sure that wisdom has no age!!!!!!

  9. Both. Without a lot of baggage and beliefs, the child is freer to come up with imaginative ideas. The child has the insight and clarity to see right through conflicted arguments.

The elder has the benefit of experience. Although being wise is not a prevention of foolish patterns and decisions.

  10. Neither.

The old man may be suffering from mental illness due to old age.

The child's brain have not been fully develop yet.

  11. it depends which one got a better grade at school or if they even went to school. if they both had i would say the old man. hope this helps.

  12. whoever can ask

  13. The child is more blissful and the old man is more knowledgeable. The child would have less knowledge, but also think there is less to learn, so in that sense the child is wiser.

  14. in terms of widom the elder wins

but in terms of simplicity the child wins

  15. To answer this question you would have to know both the child and the older man.  In most cases I would have to say that the old man is wiser because he has experience on his side.  One would also hope that after a life time the old man would be more knowledgeable.  Of course I have met plenty of older men who are dumber then a box of rocks.  So really it depends on the specific people you are comparing.

  16. see if we tell anything to the child he'll do that without thinking wrong and right but if we tell something to an old person he will surely think about it and then he will act.....

so i think the old man is wiser....

  17. the child

  18. an untainted mind of a child.Ü

  19. Wisdom comes with experience which comes with age.

Children can learn very quickly but don't usually have the experience to use their knowledge wisely.
