Who is working on the solution for eliminating gas consumption in vehicles?

Question

All I know is I have to help do something about this out of control problem of our people sucking down the worlds fossil fuels. I just want to know who what & where are the people working on new fuel. C'mon, we've walked on the moon already why do we still have to rely on oil? What are the alternatives - I want to hear them all and know where these people are - they need all the support and energy they can get from us!!

The Left is who has blocked us from drilling. It will not help the price of gasoline for BLANK years. It will take a long time if we don't start. Mother nature and the plants with photosynthesis will recycle CO2 into O2 ,but it also recycles the plant into oil & gas. We will never run out .  The Left prefurres us to buy our oil from our enemy . They are betting that we will give up and loose. We need to tell the Left ,we dont need traitors.

All the carmakers know how to make cars that run on alternative fuels, especially Ford, who made natural gas vehicles from the late 1990's to 2004, and may get back in the game due to some interest  lately! I have 2 of theirs; a 1999 Crown Vic and a 2000 F-150 pickup truck. Both run only on natural gas (methane), and I love 'em! They are way cheaper and way cleaner than regular gasoline-burners. We just lack a better fueling infrastructure here in the USA. Other countries are way ahead of us in that respect.
