the carolina panthers are my second favorite team. when i first played nfl blitz 2000 i just picked a random team because my uncle had taken the vikings (who was the one that made the vikings my number one team) and i had picked the panthers and just stuck with them

My number 2 is in the NFC. The Bears. I am big into good defense and brian urlacher is my favorite defensive player. They are good anyway! They have been my number two eveer since I was rooting for them against the Colts in the super bowl a few years ago.

My grandpa lived in Baltimore, but then moved to Denver, but still supported the Colts.  My dad then supported the Colts.  They moved to Louisiana, became Saints fans, and passed the Colts as my #2 team to me.

I was born and raised a Browns fan.  Have been all my life.  But in recent years, I have developed a fondness for the Houston Texans.  I don't really know why.  Whether it was because they shared in the misery of always finishing in last place, or the fact that they always seemed to play each other and I was actually not that disappointed if my team fell behind, but the Texans have become a team I have found myself rooting for recently.  But I still love my Browns.

My favorite team is green bay i ws born a packer fan. but my 2nd fav team is the Carolina panthers baby! The way I got to the panthers was when i saw  them play the pats in the superbowl, then i rooted for them against the seahawks  in the playoffs a few years back. and i have kinda followed them and stuck with them since. I have also always liked #89 Steve Smith! Quick and small lol AND THATS MY STORY!

The Dallas Cowboys

because in fifth grade, our math class did a fantasy football project.  everybody picked a team, and i chose the Dallas Cowboys [simply because there were few options left].  the Cowboys did horrible that year, but that did not stop me from loving them. i have since followed the cowboys and became slightly attached to them.

Well the Carolina Panthers are my favorite team but my second favorite team is the Redskins. They have impressed for a while now. An the way there season went last year was a shocker. When Sean Taylor died i was devistated. But i have been a Fan for the Redskins for a while an i know they will do some incredible things this year.

Jacksonville... my uncle was on the Jaguars developmental squad last year before being waived and at least they gave him a chance especially since he was an undrafted free agent, and becuase David Garard proved to fans that he was Jacksonvilles hope and for the past few seasons was shoved behing draft bust Byron Leftwhich... but I mean no disrespect to Leftwhich but I prefer Garrard

Favorite team - Atlanta Falcons

Jets, they may stink but like the Giants they're still representing the city I live in despite their current location and like the Giants there's hope for them as well and one day the Jets might go far in the playoffs as well.

That said the Giants are my number one team.

i'm also from the UK, but I put a bit more thought into it than the guy above.

I chose giants, because of their style of play, (i.e running the ball a lot and winning games with a solid defense), I can't be doing with any of that west coast offense bollocks, I prefer real smash mouth football.

Also because of their history, players like Sam Huff, Emlen Tunnell, Rosey Brown, Y.A Tittle going way back to the 50s. and also players like Carson, LT , Mark Bavaro more recently.

Another reason was the current players, most notably Strahan and Umenyiora, Strahan just summing up the team for me with his love of the team and the game and Umenyiora because he is sort of English.

For my second team, its Broncos, a lot less thought went into that one, it just John Elway.

The Chargers

Im a big fan of Marty Shotenheimer(SP?).. LT is a BAMF...so is Cromartie... Merrimen...and Gates...

Of course Dallas will always be my team(WIN OR LOSE)..

I used to like the Bucs because I was a fan of Cadillac and Joey Galloway was a fave when he played for Dallas...

But I think the Chargers have a great team on their hands and I sense a Cowboys/Chargers SB comin up..

Yes I do.

I grew up in the Bay Area...so I should be a die hard Niners fan... having grown up in the Montana Ascendancy.  BUT.... in 82 they played against this team....and well... to an impressionable 7 year old mind..those Tiger Stripes looked pretty awesome.  So then and their..I became a Bengals fan..and have pulled for them ever since..all the more so as I got older and actually understood the game.

BUT.....

I still love the Niners too.  How can you hate Bill Walsh?  Joe Montana, Tom Rathman, John Taylor, Ronnie Lott, Roger Craig, Randy Cross, and of Course..Jerry Rice?

Joe Montana was such an influence that I always dreamed of playing for Notre Dame..and they are still ,y cpllege team of choice..despite having all those major schools right there in California.

Even after they chased off Joe...we had Steve Young.  Now..its true..the years with TO were hard to deal with..and seeing Garcia take over...well he is a good QB..but after Young and Montana... it was hard to deal with seeing what York has done to that once proud franchise.

I would love to see Eddie DeBartelo get the team back... then the Red and Gold would have some pride again... instead of just being a cashcow for some witch who doesnt care about the game.

anyways.....

I live in Ohio now..and definitely wear my Tiger stripes with pride..but I always root for the Niners too..even when they play my Bengals..  I may want Cincy to win..but I want SF to play well.

I also really like the Carolina Panthers, and am a bit fond of Cleveland and New England.

Only team I hate is the Cowboys..though I am a little sick of Colts fans of late.

1st favorite team is Rams I like them because first team I ever watched play and they won that game and I was a little kid so I was easily convinced

2nd favorite team The Indianapolis Colts cause Peyton Manning is my favorite player and I just really think he's awesome. Like if I was dying I'd want to meet him lol.

In football it's definitely the New York Giants of New Jersey.  My favorite team is the New York Jets, but I live with a bunch of Giants fans.  So I root for them as well as the Jets.  It's not like baseball where I'm a Met fan and they're all Yankee fans, so I hate the Yankees.  The Yankees/ Mets rivalry is more personal.  The Giants and Jets don't really have a rivalry.  It's more of an understanding of different views.  I was a big Giants fan when they were in the playoffs last year and beat the team that I hate so very very much (that team will not be named).  But I even liked the Giants before that wonderful playoffs, so it wasn't a bandwagon type of thing.  i just grew up with a whole bunch of Giant fans and I live in New York.
