  1. There are two players that I have had the honour of watching in the modern era and whom I rate as my all-time favourites: 1. Wayne Carey 2. Gary Ablett

King Carey was my all-time fave until he did two really d**khead-ish things, the first being a k**b in real life and doing the dirty on his mate's wife, and the second, trying to resurrect his career at Adelaide Crows where he sucked big time and lost that aura he had before. Carey in his prime was unstoppable, and his duel with Glen Jackovish of West Coast was probably the best duel f the 90s. Carey also helped guide the Kangas (my team) to two premierships, and was an inspirational leader and the best playmaker. It was also very unlucky when he didnt when the Brownlow in the year that Wanganeen won it coz he was so dominant at that time.

Gary Ablett was GOD himself. He would pull miracles out of nowhere, and I remember one of the best matches where he and Paul Salmon (when he was at Essendon) had a major goalfest, something which we aren't going to see for a long time now. Gary was also composed off the ground, very humble, and a great icon that was marred by some incidents recently. However he is viewed by many legends of the game as the greatest player to have ever graced the game of AFL.

My other favourites are: Malcom Blight, Neil Harvey, Leigh Matthews, Bob Skilton, d**k Reynolds, Michael Voss, Tony Lockett, Gary Williams, David Dench, Glen Archer, Jim Krakouer, and Adam Goodes.

  2. Although i am an Adelaide Crows supporter, I would say that Wayne (The King) Carey is my all time favourite. He was a true champion,a great mark and he sure knows how to turn a game around in a short period of time.

Forget what he has done recently, I hope people will just look at his football career only.

  3. Hey there, well my all time footballer would be former Collingwood football player Darren Millane ,as he was so dominate on the feild with his size in body and his skill was great too,he also had enormous courage also.He didnt always do the right thing off the feild and he paid the price for that numerous times again and agin, but still managed to visit sick children in the hospitals in melbourne and also plenty of other community work apart from the work he had to do for his silly mistakes.Yes he was a larrikin and played up a fair bit ,but was also the raging bull from victoria park and was much loved by us collingwood faithfulls, cheers

  4. Jason akermanis and Nathan Brown

  5. Robert Harvey - AFL Footballer

  6. It would have to be Darren Jarmen from the Crows. He had the ability to win a match off his own boot, and although he wasn't silky smooth, he was still one h**l of a player.

Another player would be Stephen Silvagni, because he played such a tough position (full back) and he played on some of the best, and he always gave 100%.

  7. fav??? i dont really have a fab buuuuuttt i will always luv Luke Ablett(from the Sydney Swans) he is so cute!

  8. probably Greg Williams, as a dual brownlow medallist at two different clubs and probably should have had a third (debatable),the guy was a ball magnet who regularly racked up 35+possesion games and without the athleticism or pace of other footballers he just had agood football brain and great skills, other mentions would be wayne carey, michael voss, tony lockett, james hird, gary ablett, the list could go on.
