  1. Terry Wogan gets my vote. Not only is he great to listen to in the morning, he's discovered a lot of new talent. Luff that guy.

  2. Wolfman Jack!

  3. john peel [r.i.p.]

  4. Actually, for entertainment value, Howard Stern is unsurpassed.  Even though i can do without the girlie segments, I enjoy the interviews that no one can even come close to for laughs and entertainment.  Howard has evolved into a much more interesting person and could be premier class entertainment for the masses with top notch sponsors, if....he would stop the silly dumb girlie, stripper, stuff that only appeals to the basest males in society.  He and his crew are unsurpassed in production!  I am almost addicted to the fun!

  5. Not exactly the best, but one of the most prolific would be Rick Dees. Still on - with a career that started, what - 30-plus years ago?

Of course, he's an uber dork, but prolific and successful nonetheless. He was the Seacrest of the 70's.

Locally, in LA, many bands attribute their success to Rodney Bingenheimer (Rodney on the ROQ) of KROQ. He found the most obscure and gave them airplay on his show. In fact, Swedish Egle from the 80's too - same station.

  6. Mark and Brian from LAs KLOS... He also just announced that his wife Linda is dying of breast cancer!

  7. WXRT's Frank E. Lee

  8. Terry Wogan!!!

    Or Tony Blackburn, the legend!

  9. I like listening to Radio 4, that word game..

  10. BJ, Howie, Jennifer in the mornings!

    Alice105.9 Representing Denver Colorado

  11. sir jimmy savile

think you spell it like that from a show called saviles travels

    regards x kitti x

  12. Wolfman Jack and the great John R., hard to choose. Allen Freed as well for not just opening doors, but driving a tank through them.

  13. Tim Shaw is an awesome dj

  14. Jonathan Schwartz

  15. Casey Casem, what a radio voice and for so long as well, I'm not sure but he might still do that, actually is he still alive. Whatever he was good and he even was the voice of Shaggy so, so zoinks you can't beat him for national radio.

I hate pop music though, which is what they mostly played.

  16. Annie Nightingale on BBC Radio 1. No-one, in my opinion, can top her.

  17. Mike North

  18. dave lee travis

  19. My Favorite Radio *On Air Personality* AKA DJ is Randi Martin  on XM Satellite radio- The Blend.

  20. Wolfman Jack ♫
