Who is your favorite AFL star from your team?

I support Hawthorn my fav player would be Luke hodge, but there are a lot of good young players in the team and i'm looking forward to seeing them play too ... Like Franklin and McGlynn, and now Rioli too

My favorite player on my team is Cameron Ling. He was a full-forward when a youth. Now he is a tagger deluxe and having to follow others have helped with is pace, at one time as a youth player, he had legs in concrete, the goal square.

I know where you're coming from when you nominate Brad Johnson as your favourite. Quite apart from his obvious ability, it is impossible to dislike someone who never stops smiling. I'd love to know how he got to be that happy.

Unfortunately though, I can't agree with you as I'm not a Doggies fan. While I can hear all the cyber boos ringing through my computer, I have to confess to being a Crows fan and my favourite is Andy McLeod. He has that X factor that very few sportsmen possess. Like Harry Kewell when watching the soccer on TV, he just lopes onto the screen and sees an opportunity that no one else does and accelerates, swoops on the ball and never fumbles and then he's away. But it doesn't stop there, he doesn't dispose of it in a heated rush, he slows down and assesses his options. The reductions in pace deceives opponents into believing that they can catch him then, while Andy is working out where he's going to put the ball, opponents draw closer and closer, their arms stretch out and their finger tips tickle his guensey, then, just as they think they have got him, he changes gear, accelerates away and delivers a pinpoint pass to a team mate. That's why I'd happily go to the footy just to watch Andy. Like Harry Kewell, every time he's near to the action he generates an electricity and you just know something great is about to happen.

I am a huge Lions fan. My fav player from the current crop would be Daniel Merritt. The way he has taken his opportunity   by the horns. My two most favorite players of all time have both retired. They are Lynch and McRae. Both sensational players in there respective roles. There would be a third man in there as well that i wont name as im still dirty at him for "retiring" then taking a contract to play for bloody Essedon
