Who is your favorite Nascar commentator..why?

Anyone but DW mainly because he just likes to hear himself talk and that is not a good thing when being a commentator.

Plus the boogity boogity boogity thing is terribly stupid in my opinion and needs to go.

I like Wally Dallenback Jr. He knows alot about Nascar and what drivers go thru week in and week out. I can relate to him better than the others.

i think kyle petty no offense to the other previous drivers but nonw of them have been in a car since you know early 90s... kyle has raced the new car with other people on the track (DW and Jeff Hammond only do 2 laps on the track)...kyle knows what he is talking about when it comes to the new car

Rusty Wallace (when he's covering NASCAR)  because he's intelligent, knowledgeable (from years of experience) and isn't annoying (like DW).  Dale Jarrett will be a great commentator as well.

i like larry mac, dw and jeff hammond. they all know what they're talking about and they're funny.

Dale Jarrett... he gives good explanations without dumbing it down too much... although Kyle Petty tends to crack me up with some of his comments...

Benny Parsons and Darrell Waltrip

They hav both race before announcing so they actualy know what they are talking about.

My favorite was Benny Parsons and since he passed away I don not have a fave anymore.  

I do love DW and Daddy Ned though.  Hammy and Larry are Ok too.  It's more of a group thing depending on what aspects are being discussed and by whom for me.  They all have specific knowledge yet very different takes on it all.

Rick Allen because he makes even the boring battles exciting with his dramatic voice.

Alan Bestwick ain't bad, either. I don't know what he does, but he makes it work.

Larry MacReynolds is pretty good, but doesn't have the voice to be lead commentator.

I like Darrel Waltrip, but he's obviously extremely biased towards a few drivers *cough*JuniorandBusch*cough*

i generally like DW the best of the drivers, but both dale and ned jarrett are very good.

but overall, i'd have to say kyle petty - nobody is funnier during a race.  kyle's also great on "trading paint" - smart guy, great communication abilities, and a great ability to think and separate his thoughts as a commentator, as a driver, and as an "owner."
