I agree with you but as a circketer I would rate Sanath Jaisuriya above all the all Lions in circket.

Sanath has always proven as a Excellent bowler for Lions about his batting do I need to tell you that all the cricket lovers in the world love His brand of circket.

To date He has not played a selfish innings.

On his day of Retirement If he is going to ask the world,Have I entertained like Lara did,

They whole world will reply in one single voice there was not a better entertainer in history of circket than you.

I like Kumar Sangakkara.  Sanga seems to be a very coold guy off the field as well and a generally very likeable guy.

Kumar Sangakarra... he can bat and a good wicket keeper...  also I think he is better looking man than the others...

Though Sanath Jayasuriya is the darling of everyone, yet my personal favourite from the Lankan team is Kumar Sangakkara. He is a very good wicket keeper-batsman! His keeping has developed to such an extent that he was once considered, by the LG ICC Test ratings. In 2007 he joined the elite club of Test Batsmen who have scored five or more double centuries. Smashing unbeaten consecutive scores of 200 and 222 in the second and third Tests against Bangladesh, Sangakkara became the sixth man in history to score back-to-back double centuries, putting him in the elite company of Sir Don Bradman and Wally Hammond.

i to say Arivinda de Silva, great quality batsman and one of few subcontinental batsman to thrive on pitches outside the subcontinent, you always had to work bloody hard to get him out, very handy bowler as well, guided his team to a World Cup win and genuinely respected all over the world, a real nice guy of cricket

Arjuna Ranatunga was a favorite of mine once for his good batting and captaincy skills.

Arvinda De Silva came next...probably one of the greats of SL cricket.

Interesting that everybody chose batsman. My favorite cricketer is murali. Watching him bowl and his many variations is awesome. The leading Test wicket-taker has more often than not got the better of batsman with his brilliant bowling. Truly will be remebered for a long time.

Sanath Jayasuriya, who has been instrumental in many Sri Lankan's wins.  He can demoralise any bowler in the world when he is in form. He is also a utility player with ball too and age has not affectedhis agility in the field.
