Present day -Hatton, Mosely, and Mayweather if he fights the top contenders in his division like Cotto, Mosely, Margarito, Williams, etc.

my favorite boxer of all time is julio cesar chavez sr.   chavez is definitly under rated...he is not even on the top ten of all time of any american boxing ratings...for what this man accomplished he should be in the top ten...chavez was 89 and 0 with 74 ko's before he recieved his first loss..when chavez would move up in weight he would work his way up through the rankings and beat the champions by unifying the titles....notable wins;azavache martinez,chucho castillo,roger mayweather(twice),rocky lockridge,edwin rosario,jose luis ramirez,meldrick taylor(twice),angel hernandez,hector camacho,greg haugen to name a few..the only reason i believe why chavez is not rated in the top ten is the simple fact that he is not american!

It has got to be 'Iron Mike Tyson'. Put any boxer agaisnt him right now and he would knock them out first round guaranteed. His sheer power and speed was greater than heavyweights right now. For a heavyweight to have such speed was amazing. He is ranked equal first with Ali in my books.
