Who is your favorite minor league team?

And why is that minor league team your favorite team, please tell me the name of your favorite minor league team, the league they play in, and if they are a minor league team for a major league team, please tell me the name of the major league team that they play for, if they do, since there are inpended leagues.

The A's minor league team, the Sacramento River Cats. They play in Triple A. They are a minor league team from a major league team. THe team is the Oakland A's! =]

Mine is the Iowa Cubs of the Pacific Coast League. They are the AAA affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, my favorite MLB team. They also play in Des Moines, only about 40 minutes from where I live. I go to several of their games every year.

I like the San Francisco Giants Triple-A team the Fresno Grizzlies.  I live 60 miles from them, and I love the Giants.  They play in the Pacific Coast League, West Division.

The Brooklyn Cyclones.  They are the Mets Class A affiliate.  To get to go to a minor league game is a great experience, especially for    kids.  .These ballplayers care about the game, they are trying to play for a career and eventually a payday.  There is no hot dogging and the prices at the stadium are great.  I am sure this is the way with all minor league teams.  But I am a Met fan and that is why I chose the Cyclones

My favorite team for the minor leagues is in single A The Hudson Valley Renagades since i live close their games are fun to watch and there the Tampa Bay Rays Farm System team!

The AA Huntsville Stars, Brewers minor league organization.  They've got far more talent than any other minor league team, even without Matt LaPorta.  Expect to see a lot of their players in the MLB very soon.

Tennessee Smokies double a affiliate of the chicago cubs.. i got jeff samardjias autograph at one of their games... They are fun to watch

My favorites are the International League's Durham Bulls, the AAA affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays and the Southern League's Carolina Mudcats, the AA affiliate of the Florida Marlins. They're my local teams and I try to go to as many games as possible. I've no particular love for either the Marlins or the Rays (my favorite MLB team would be the Pittsburgh Pirates), but it's nice having two local teams to cheer on.

Also, while the team is dead now, having moved to Greenville, SC and changed their name to the Greenville Drive, I used to love going to see the Capital City Bombers, then the low-A affiliate of the New York Mets and part of the South Atlantic League. Going to those games with my Dad was always fun and it was where I saw my first baseball game. I got to see a good many people now in the majors, including Derek Jeter, Yusmeiro Petit, Scott Kazmir, Lastings Milledge, Jason Kendall, and Preston Wilson all playing either for or against the Bombers (or prior to that when they were called the Columbia Mets)

My favorite minor league baseball team is the Kane County Cougars. They are an affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, and they are low class-A in the Midwest League.

I like them because I live only 20 minutes from the stadium. My sister works there so we get free tickets to every game, so I am there quite a bit. I also have seen many of the players in person and they are really nice!

That's why I like the Kane County Cougars!

I love them because they have been successful and several players have come out of that team and up to the bigs and played well here. We really have had to rely on our farm team lately.
