Who is your favorite out of these cartoons Family Guy or The Simpsons?

One time, I saw this same question asked. A million people said Family Guy, and 2 said Simpsons.

The thing is, that's like asking which is better, a ham sandwich or ice cream? They are both food, but completely different.

In my opinion, they are not even comparable.

Family Guy fans cannot appreciate the humor of Simpsons.

Family Guy is funny, but very low-effort. Anyone can be funny with non-stop sexual and drug references. A five-minute storyline, while the rest of the show is "hey, that reminds me of that time when...",

not to mention the non-stop references to celebrities that 1/2 the viewers are unfamiliar with.

Simpsons is a much more difficult program to write. Let's see if Family guy can last as long.

I think The Simpsons is better because most of the time Family Guy has some really stupid plot. And Family Guy is inappropiate for half the audience they have. In my area nobody over 15 watchs Family Guy.

But The Simpsons can be a sort of smart show sometimes and still be funny. Also it's not THAT inappropiate for kids. I grew up with The Simpsons.

The Simpsons. As the first girl said, I grew up with this cartoon. And yeah, the newer episodes may not be as funny as earlier seasons, but they're still funnier than alot of the crappy cartoons that they show nowadays. Plus, I love all of the memorable characters from the recognizable--Homer, to the more obscure--Cletus, the slack-jawed yokel. :)
