Who is your favorite perfomance artist, alive or dead?

I've enjoyed the like of Alan Kaprow and Karen Finley for some time now, but need to find someone new. Any recommendations?

I can't pick just one because I have seen some really brilliant talent over the years.  Isaac Stern and Glen Gould, definitely... Dame Margot Fontaine at her peak before she married that dreadful blood sucker. But the list is really endless... just over the past 100 years alone, it's impossible to list just one favorite

When it comes to Guitar pickers, I don't even know where to start... I can think of about 50 that should be on ANY "best" list.

I hate these types of questions because they are so subjective they really don't mean anything.
