Who is your favorite serial killer?

I have to write a paper on serial killers and I am trying to narrow it downt to just like maybe 3 or 4...? i know like charles manson...but so does everyone else. anyone know any other interesting killa's? :D thanks loves.

Jack the Ripper is interesting as a couple of others suggested...or maybe you'd find it interesting to check into a more recent example like Ted Bundy.  He was quite personable, and outgoing and attractive...and highly intelligent, a law student- all personality traits he used to lure his victims (mostly college students.)

Another more recent one who was very prolific (over 30 bodies buried on his own property) was John Wayne Gacy.

Or, you might elect to go with someone like Wayne Williams, one of the few black serial killers, or Aileen Wuornos, one of the few females.

I agree with Person, you should write on Jack the Ripper. It provides a great opportunity to explore psychology a little...he actually had what he thought was complete justification of his murders.
