We are in the final stages of starting to build our home and are looking for companies to finance our loan with. Anyone financed lately and are happy with the service you received?

  1. Wells Fargo is by far the best out there.

Ignore the spam you will be receiving from this post.

  2. Currently Citimortgage, they're the third company that bought the mortgage. We originally got our loan through Loyola, then Sun Bank bought the  mortgage and finally Citimortgage. We were advised during closing that other banks could buy the mortgage. The good thing is the interest rate never changed between the transaction.

Citimortgage has been very helpful with questions over the years and very informative since they've bought the mortgage. Just realize who you start out with you may not wind up with. Good luck.

  3. I currently have homes financed with BofA and USAA (sold to GMAC).  USAA is for Military or dependents only.  USAA usually will have the best deal, form what I have found.  BofA is expensive but you can deal with them.  I have gotten them to beat deals from USAA.  You have to be persistent and provide them with proof of the better deal but when pushed they will deal.
